Curtis Dominique Scott

Curtis Dominique Scott was born April 13, 1990 in Wyandotte, Michigan to Stephanie Adams and Curtis  Scott, who was his biological father.  Curtis was lovingly reared by his mother and his God-given father, Charles Adams.  He was affectionately known by his middle name, Dominique.
    He received his early education in the Jasper County Public School System, and attended Jasper County High School in Ridgeland, SC.
    Dominique was a sweet, loving son, brother, and  cousin.  He was always very respectful of others; and he loved his family very much.
    He worked at Palmetto Dunes on Hilton Head Island, SC.  He loved to play basketball and video games with his family; especially with his son, Jayden, whom he loved so much.  Dominique had a smile that told people how he was feeling on any particular day.
    On Tuesday, April 1, 2014,  Curtis Dominique Scott “entered into  eternal rest  from the cares of this world.   He was preceded in death by his beloved maternal grandmother, Shirley Ann Chaneyfield; and his grandfather, Cleveland Chaneyfield, Jr.  
    He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving parents, Stephanie Adams  and Charles Adams of Ridgeland, SC; his biological father, Curtis Scott of Ridgeland, SC;  and a special father, Gregory Bryant of Atlanta, GA; one son, Jayden Miller; one  brother, Cameron Adams; two stepbrothers, Chaz Adams of Houston, TX, and Omar Ladson of Rochester, NY; one stepsister, Nykeera Marie Scott of Ridgeland, SC; his  grandmothers, Amarie Scott and Patricia Adams, both of Ridgeland, SC; his loving great grandmother, Margie Chaneyfield of Ridgeland, SC  six aunts, Danielle Orr of Canton, MI, and Shelonda Chaneyfield of Ypsilanti, MI, LaHoma Scott of Ridgeland,SC, Jacquelin Scott of Beaufort, SC Monique Adams and Robyn Adams both of New Jersey; uncles, DeAndre’ Chaneyfield, Duntez (ShaKyra) Chaneyfield and Deon Chaneyfield, all of Ypsilanti, MI, Dexter (Lovella) Bolden, and Eric Bolden, both of Ridgeland, SC, Charles Chaneyfield of Inkster, MI, Clarence Jones and Harry Jones, both of Ridgeland, SC; Shaw (Fredrica) Chaneyfield of Ridgeland, SC and Darryl Adams of Baltimore, MD; two special friends, Ciera Miller and Willie Simmons, Jr.; and a host of grand aunts, grand uncles, and other loving reltives and friends.
