Doretha "Rita" Grant, 61, a native of St. Helena Island, SC died Thursday, July 26, 2018, at University Hospital in Newark, NJ. She was the mother of LaToya Williams and Jesse King. Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm Thursday, August 2, 2018, at Allen Funeral Home Chapel in Beaufort, SC. Funeral services will be held 1 pm, Friday, August 3, 2018, at Oaks True Holiness on St. Helena Island, SC. Allen Funeral Home of Beaufort in charge.
