Frenchy Dale Stevens, 53, first-born son to Isadore Stevens, Jr. and Edna (Ruth) Stevens in Brooklyn, New York on July 20, 1966. Frenchy was affectionally called “Dale” by family and friends.
Frenchy attended and graduated from Hill Crest High School in Jamaica, New York. After high school, Frenchy and his family moved to Walterboro, South Carolina with relatives. He attended South Carolina State University for three years where he majored in Mechanical Engineer.
Frenchy became an employee of Walmart store #728 in the mid 1980’s where he worked as shipping and receiving supervisor as part of “The Dream Team”. Frenchy left Walmart in the early 1990’s to continue employment elsewhere. Frenchy worked at Wheel-a-brator, he was later employed by Cast Alloy Company where he poured steel.
Frenchy Dale Stevens departed this life on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Roper Hospital in Charleston, SC after a long illness. Frenchy was preceded in death by his daughter, Natalie Noelle, his maternal and paternal grandparents who adored on him. He spent many holidays with them.
Frenchy leaves to cherish his memories: his parents: Isadore Stevens, Jr. and Edna (Ruth) Stevens; five children, David Dale Stevens who resided in the home with him, Christopher, India, Jaquez and Jaden; brother, Shawn (Angie) Stevens of Charlotte, NC; two nephews, Damian and Savon; granddaughter, Jaxson Ford; three aunts, Rosa, Carolyn, Caretha (Wade); uncles, David Fryar and Henry Stevens (Orean); along with a host of other relatives and friends.
