Julie Mae Youmans

Julie P. Youmans, 71, the daughter of the late David and Charlotte S. Pinckney, was born on May 5, 1947 in Jasper County, South Carolina.
She was educated in the public school system of Jasper County and received an Associate Degree in Business Administration from University of South Carolina and an Associate Degree in Marketing from the City University of New York.
Upon graduation, Julie moved to New York and worked for Lampert Plains, Inc. Julie moved back home in 1978 to pursue her love of craft, her civic duty in youth development, and love of fitness.
Julie P. Youmans departed on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Beaufort, South Carolina.
Julie was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Youmans, her parents, David and Charlotte S. Pinckney and three siblings Lorraine P. Summerville, Robert L. Pinckney and David Pinckney, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her son, Darryl Youmans of Ridgeland, SC; two sisters, Edna P. Jenkins of Gillisonville, SC and Ruthie Ann P. Benson of Bronx, New York; three brothers Daniel, James and Michael Pinckney all of Point South, South Carolina; two sisters in law Carrie B. Pinckney and Loretta Pinckney of South Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.


Julie Mae Youmans, 71, of Yemassee, SC died Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, SC. Visitation was held from 5-7 pm Friday, December 7, 2018, Allen Funeral Home Complex in Ridgeland, SC. Funeral services was held 11 am, Saturday, December 8, 2018, also at Allen Funeral Home Complex in Ridgeland. Allen Funeral Home of Beaufort in charge.
