"Muhammad" Bolden

Sunrise: June 21, 1956 - March 30, 2015

          Michael Ricky Bolden was born in Jasper County, SC to Helen Bolden and the late William Taylor Sr. He was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church in Ridgeland, SC. He was a graduate of McCracken High in Bluffton, SC. Michael enjoyed sports, especially baseall and listening to music was a favorite pastime.

            He was an entrepreneur, the owner and operator of Mike’s Detailing and Pressure Washing. He enjoyed all kinds of food and he was devoted to his family. He was a family man in every sense of the word. He loved his kids and grandkids and doted on them as any Father and Grandfather would. Michael enjoyed life; he was a firm believer that laughter was medicine for the soul. He laughed a lot, always joking around with others.

              Michael was preceded in death by his father William Taylor Sr., two brothers; Larry Bolden and Rudolph Taylor and one sister Yolanda Taylor.

               Michael leaves to cherish his memories his mother Helen Bolden of Ridgeland SC, his companion Eleanor Sinclair of Savannah, GA, six children; Tonie Johnson, Yasinyah, Jameel, Taherah and Sakinah Beaton of Ridgeland, SC and Nykea Tanner of Atlanta, GA. eight brothers; Edward (Margaret) Bolden, Leroy Bolden, Barry Bolden Willie “Toby”Taylor Jr. and Johnease (Berma) Taylor all of Ridgeland SC, Marvin (Faquita) Taylor of Hilton Head Island SC, William “June” (Marlo) Taylor and Thomas Taylor of Atlanta GA. five sisters; Wilhelmina Sims of Harker, Heights, TX, Barbara Hamilton of Bluffton, SC, Easter Mae (Chester) White, Shirley (Roy) Estill both of Atlanta, GA and Teresa (Charlie) Jones of Early Branch, SC.; fourteen grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; two close and dear friends Anthony ”Russell”(Annette) Cannick and Richard Nelson Jr.
