Prince Hamilton “Lester” as he was affectionately called was born on October 23, 1943, in Bluffton, SC to the late Sylvia Fuller and Jacob Hamilton.
He attended the Beaufort County School district in education. He loved taking care of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, caring for his chickens and ducks. His passion was working on small engines. He retired as a mechanic and landscaper.
On the morning of August 16, 2018, Prince then summoned to God to eternal rest as God called him home from labor to reward at Savannah Memorial Health in Savannah, GA. Prince was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Sarah Bush, Margaret Hamilton and Rosa Lee Jenkins; brothers, James Hamilton, Jr. and Frank Hamilton.
Cherishing Prince’s memories he leaves his wife, Ella Mae Chisolm of Hardeeville, SC; three children, James (Charlie) Chisolm, Wesley Chisolm both of Hardeeville, SC and Debbie (Randy) Chisholm of Ridgeland, SC; seven grandchildren, Kamaloni Chisholm, NaiJuwan Chisholm, Gavin Chisolm all of Hardeeville, SC, Audrianna Chisolm of Savannah, GA, Carmani Chisolm of Hilton Head Island, SC, Naszier Chisolm of Bluffton, SC and Keiomion Aiken of Ridgeland, SC; four great-grandchildren, Joniathan Greene, Kheilani Greens, Chance Bush-Holley and Paige Bush-Holley of Hardeeville, SC; sisters, Nancy George of Trenton, NJ and Henrietta Jones of Rockport, NY; brother, Robert Hamilton of Trenton, NJ; also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His memories will also be cherished by his devoted niece, Daisy Gadson of Bluffton, SC; goddaughter, Denise Fields of Hardeeville, SC; special friends, Bryon Edwards of Hardeeville, SC, Randy Lambert of Ridgeland, SC, Ms. Noonie and Genie Pinckney both of Bluffton, SC.
