Taj Lewis Garvin was born May 17, 1988 in Hilton Head Island, SC to Charlesetta Garvin and Thomas Garvin.
Taj graduated from Ridgeland High School, and later attended Savannah Technical College, and Savannah Barbering Institute. He was employed at Bulk Bag Depot in Hardeeville, SC, and also Habitat for Humanity in Bluffton, SC. Taj was very artistic, and left behind a collection of beautiful drawings.
