Alvin Haynes, the son of James Franklin and Helen Blue Haynes, was born September 10, 1968 in Walterboro, South Carolina. He attended Colleton County Public School. He was a member of New Jerusalem Holiness Church and he attended Elizabeth Church of our Lord Jesus Christ in Ritter, South Carolina.
Alvin enjoyed helping others and spending time with his family, his laughter was filled with joy and love to know him was to love him.
On March 28, 2022, God open the doors of Heaven and called our beloved brother home to rest from his resident. He was preceded in death by his loving father and mother, James Franklin and Helen Blue Haynes, two brothers, Maharris and Ervin Haynes, two sisters, Shirley Wright and MaLinda Berry.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: four step-children who was reared in his home: Devon Wellington, Deyron Wellington, Devine Wellington and Desmond Bodison all of Walterboro, SC; one sister, Brenda Haynes Rogers (Rodney) of Summerville, SC; two brothers, William Haynes of Summerville, SC and Donnie (Vivian) Haynes of Yemassee, SC; two sisters-in-laws, Janie Ford-Haynes of Ritter, SC and Ramona Haynes of Charlotte, NC; one uncle, Perry Kinard of Greenville, SC; one aunt, Francis Forbes of Williamsburg, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
