Bettie Orr Pinckney, 73, of Ridgeland, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2022, at her residence. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.
Betty Mae Orr Pinckney was born January 30, 1949, in Brunson S.C to the late Gassie and Laura Orr. Betty was educated in the Hampton and Jasper County Public School System.
Betty lived in S.C. all her life. She loved live plants and sitting on the porch drinking her coffee. She worked with the Jasper County School Bus Transportation team until she retired.
On Sunday, December 18, 2022, Betty Mae departed this life to go home to be with our Lord. Betty was preceded in death by her parents Gassie and Laura Orr, four sisters; Annie Louise Charity, Juanita Morris, Mary Brisbane and Lillie Rose Behlin, and one brother Alfred Orr.
Betty’s memory will be cherished by her children Eric (Dennise) Orr of PA, Shalonda (Curtis) Jackson of Bluffton, S.C., Edwena (Jaime) Clark of Ridgeland, S.C., her grandchildren; Sha’Quilla Orr, Eric Orr, Lea Orr, E’Vontrea Orr, Nakel Pinckney, Joseph Henderson, Na’Joreke Henderson, Jarod Barnwell, Franklin Jackson, Charles Lockett, six great grandchildren; McKenzie, Ma’Kayla, McKel, MaKayli, Khalil and Emery, one sister Sarah Shuler of Hilton Head Island, S.C., one brother Joseph Orr of VA, two good friends; Melissa Kalinowsky and Linda Blake, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
