Carolyn Brown was born May 3, 1950 to the late Addison Brown and William Willie Anders, in Miami, Florida. Carolyn was the fifth child of five siblings. She attended Booker T. Washington High school in Overtown, Florida where she was raised.
Carolyn began her faithful life at an early age at New Mount Mariah Missionary Baptist Church in Miami, Florida. Carolyn was employed with the Miami- Dade Company Public Transportation system as a Driver Operator. Mother Carolyn had a heart of gold, she would go above and beyond to help people. She was always willing to assist others in their time of need.
Carolyn has joined her siblings in eternal rest, three sisters; Larnita Walker, Claretta Nipple and Freddie M. Brown one brother; Lonnie Blatcher.
Carolyn left to celebrate her life and perpetuate legacy four sons; Herman Blash Jr., Lonnie (Grace) Blash, Collins Murray III, Charles (Barbara) Murray, two daughters; Carolyn Blash and Cassandra Blash, twenty-nine grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
Viewing Friday August 30, 2024 from 5-7pm at Allen Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Saturday August 31, 2024 at Allen funeral Home at 3pm.
