Charlesetta Pryor, 66, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Manor Rehab in Decatur, GA. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.
Charlesetta Johnson Pryor, 66, native of Sheldon, SC, was daughter of Reverend Henry Hayes and Mariah Johnson.
She received her education through Beaufort County Schools and was a graduate of Battery Creek High School. She later became an employee of the Beaufort County School District as a school bus driver and a teacher’s assistant. Due to her ailing health, she retired early in 1998 and spent her remaining years being devoted to her husband and children. In 1986, she received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and joined Dale New Church of Christ where she later became an Evangelist. Charlesetta had an infectious smile and a kind spirit and could never meet a stranger no matter where she went. She was loved by the many that knew her.
Charlesetta departed this life on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Manor Rehab in Decatur, GA. In addition to her parents; Charlesetta was preceded in death by her father-in- law: William Pryor, Sr.; mother in law: Cora Pryor; her beloved sisters: Henrietta Hayes and Blondell Mack; beloved nieces: Flora Hayes Gross and Theodocia Mack; beloved brothers in law, Reubin Pryor Sr. and Julius Pryor; two very best friends: Sister Earthalee Priester and Alice Lamb and her beloved uncles Abraham Johnson and Samuel Johnson.

There are so many people that were near and dear to her heart that we just can’t list them all: A spiritual mom, Bernice Ellis; a sister, Sandra Pryor, a cousin: Tracey Jones Polite; along with another sister, Sandra Williamson, who assisted and visited her during her last days; and brother, Frederick Williamson.
