Coy Jones, 62, departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at his residence in Ridgeland, SC. He was the son of Mrs. Anna Liza Jones.

Coy Jones was born on July 9, 1959 in Ridgeland, South Carolina. He was the youngest of ten children born to Nathaniel and Anna Liza Jones. On December 29, 2021 at his residence, God dispatched his Heavenly Angels to free this servant of God.
Coy graduated in 1978 from Ridgeland High School, Ridgeland S.C. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. His Love for Christ was displayed through ministering, reading, and teaching the Bible. As a young adult, Coy moved to New York where he begin working at Rockland Psychiatric Center as a Therapy Aide to the mentally ill.
In 1986, Coy met and married the love of his life Sharon Kizer. To this union 2 children were born, Nathaniel and Andrew Jones. Coy loved and was a great care taker for his children, especially Nathaniel who has been physically handicapped since birth.
Coy enjoyed cooking and preparing meals for church affairs. In 1993, Coy and his family moved to South Carolina where the family attended various churches as Coy preached and ministered services to those in need. Coy enjoyed family time with his many nieces, nephews, and especially his mom.
Coy was preceded in death by his loving father Nathaniel Jones and 3 sisters. Leaving to cherish his memories are his devoted and caring mother, Anna Liza Jones; 2 sons: Nathaniel and Andrew Jones of New York; 2 grandchildren: Alaina and Isaiah Jones; 4 sisters: Louise Rawlings (James), Helen Cummings (Alex), Ruth Stephens (Rev. Terry), Priscilla Fraser (Ronnie); 2 brothers: Joe Jones (Margaret), Henry Nathaniel Jones; a very dear and special niece, Lisa Ford; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
