The Management and Staff of Allen Funeral Home respectfully announce the passing of Deacon John P. Miller, Jr., 71, of St. Helena Island, SC who departed this life on Friday, July 11, 2025 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, SC. He was the husband of Mrs. Margie Haynes-Miller.

Visitation will be held from 5-7pm Monday, July 21, 2025 at Allen Funeral Home Chapel in Beaufort, SC. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 10:30am at Orange Grove Baptist Church on St. Helena Island, SC. Viewing will be from 9:30am until time of service, there will be no viewing after the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort, SC with full military honors.
