Desareé Ansley, 26, of Ridgeland, SC passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home of Ridgeland. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.
Desaree’ Lorenda Ansley, affectionately known as Desi’ was born August 17, 1995 to Mr. Lorenzo and Mrs. Virginia Ansley of Ridgeland SC. Desi’ received her formal education from the public school system in Jasper County. Desaree’ was a member of the 2013 graduating class. At a young age, Desi’ accepted the lord as her Lord and personal savior under the leadership of the Rev. Dr. William A. Galloway. She was a member of First Euhaw Baptist Church, of Ridgeland SC, where she was an usher and on the youth choir. Desi’ worked in the food service industries for a few years until her death. Though she was young, she was a fast talking, fun loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. We will miss that contagious laugh and beautiful smile that always lit up the room. She will truly be remembered. On September 19, Desi’ was called home. She was preceded in death by aunts, Ms. Loretta Chisolm, Leila Devore and uncles, Donald and Larry Ansley. Also a sister, Marlena Ansley. Desaree’ is survived by her parents, Lorenzo and Virginia Ansley. Her siblings Pamela Anderson, Rincon Ga, Eric Singleton, Rincon Ga, Tremaine Singleton, Ridgeland SC, Stephan Singleton, Rincon, Ga, Maleka Givens, Lorenzo Ansley Jr, both of Savannah Ga, and Marcel Jordan, Jacksonville Fla. Bonus siblings, Andretta Singleton, Summerville, SC, Lance Singleton, Bluffton, SC, Reginald Strobhart and Lakisha Kemp of Ridgeland SC. Aunts, Carrie Priester, Della Mae Polite, Shirley Gillison, Alice Ansley , Gloria Anderson, Galyn Smith, Alice Turner and Mary Hugue. Uncles, Micheal Ansley, Robert Dupont, Sr., Fred Ansley, Henry Dupont Jr., Richmond Glover, Sr., God sisters, Jakeyra and Siaisia. God brother, George “Freddie” Strobhart, of Atl, Ga., Nieces and nephews, Deandre, Jayden, Malayia, Ivyana, Dominic, Amyra, Malakye, Kameria and Damoni. Desaree’ was loved by several cousins and equally adored by many, many friends, one in particular Cierra Davis. Not only was Desaree loved by our family she was also loved and adored by the Grant and Chester families.
