Diana Griffin

Miss Diana Griffin, 76, of Grays Hill, SC, passed away at her residence, on Thursday, October 1, 2020. The viewing will be Thursday, October 8, 2020, 5-7 pm, at the Allen Funeral Home Beaufort Chapel(1508 Duke Street). The Funeral will be Friday, October 9, 2020, at 11 am, at Allen Funeral Home Complex in Ridgeland, SC under the canopy. The burial will take place in Grays Hill Cemetery at 1 pm. Allen Funeral Home of Ridgeland, SC, is in charge.

Ms. Diana Griffin, daughter of the late Mr. Willie Griffin Sr. and the late Ethel Moultrie Griffin, was born December 16, 1943, in Beaufort, SC. 

Diana was educated in the public schools of Beaufort County. She became a member of Horsepond Baptist Church, where she joined the Usher Board. Ushering became her love and passion.  She served faithfully, at any church, and at any time she could.  That was her pleasure to serve other people.

Diana departed this earthly life on Friday, October 2, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Diana leaves to cherish her memories, her three children, Betty Griffin ( Bernie) of Rome, GA, Ben Griffin (Diane) of Ravenel, SC, Frederick Griffin (Michelle) of Rome, GA; three sisters, Williemena Pope (Joe), Mary Lee Smith (Dan) and Mattie Cummings (Wesley; two brothers, Benjamin Griffin of Beaufort, SC and Edward Griffin of North Carolina; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
