Donaisha Angelia Kelly, affectionately known as “DeeDee”, was born November 18, 2002, in Walterboro, SC to Mr. Donald Kelly and Mrs. Angelia K. Kelly.
“DeeDee” attended the public schools of Colleton County, and was only four credits shy of graduating from Colleton County High School. “DeeDee” loved children and always dreamed of becoming a Pediatrician one day. Most recently, “DeeDee” reassured a few dear loved ones that she was going to get herself together and make them and her mother proud.
“DeeDee” cheered for Colleton County All-Stars during her elementary school days. She was employed at Wendy’s in Walterboro, SC. She was really proud to be working, this was her very first job. “DeeDee” enjoyed listening to music, spending time with her family and friends.
On Thursday, April 22, 2020, God called His angel Donaisha Angelia “DeeDee” Kelly home. She was preceded in death by her mother, paternal grandparents: Mary and Matthew Kelly; niece: JaKeisha Stevens. “DeeDee” will be dearly loved, missed, and remembered for her big heart, smile, hugs, and bubbly personality.
Those left to cherish her memories are her father: Mr. Donald Kelly of Walterboro, SC; siblings: Donna S. Grant, Kevin J. Grant, and Shaun Grant; maternal grandparents: Willla Mae Moore, Cecil Moore; adopted grandmother: Sonya Smith; nieces: JaMeisha Stevens, JaMya Grant, and Kristy Washington; nephews: JaCarre Stevens, JaBari Grant, Donovan Grant, and Thurston Grant; godmother and aunt: Laura Ann Kelly; godbrother: Ronald Dane Kelly; maternal uncles: Don Grant and Billy Grant (Charlotte); paternal aunts and uncles: Joe Kelly, Billy Kelly, Pete Kelly, Harris Kelly, Ronald Kelly (Shalonda), Thomas Kelly (Von), Victoria Washington, Glenda Mae Kelly, Carrie Brown, Johnny Mae Kelly, Grace Kelly, and Rebecca Kelly; cousins reared in the home: Devantea J Grant (Kaiyden), Iesha N. Grant (Elijah), Aeron J. Grant, Essence A. Grant, and Nyoshia Grant; best friends: Jordin Glover, Jameira Johnson, and Ashonee Smalls; mentor: Gail Kidd; to include a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
