Donta Mikel Williams

Mr. Donta Mikel Williams, 32 of St. Helena Island, SC passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2020. He was the son of Mary Palmer of Ridgeland, SC, and the grandson of Jeanette Singleton of St. Helena Island, SC. No Viewing. Services will be Thursday, August 27, 2020, at 11 AM, Allen Funeral Chapel Complex in Ridgeland, SC. The Service will be conducted in our open-air setting at the facility.

Donta Mikell “Boss” Williams was born on December 30, 1987, in Beaufort, South Carolina. He was the son of Mary J. Palmer and Albert Williams.  Donta obtained his GED in June of 2016. Donta was fun, loving, caring, and protective. He enjoyed playing basketball, fishing, mechanical work, and working on computer systems. Donta was a member of the Jehovah Church of Jesus Christ.

On Tuesday, August 18, 2020, Donta Mikell Williams “Boss” was called from labor to reward on St. Helena Island, SC. He was preceded in death by, his late wife Octavia Williams of St. Helena Island, South Carolina.

Donta “Boss” Williams leaves to cherish his memories, one stepson, Raekwon Williams of St. Helena Island, SC, his mother Mary J. Palmer of Ridgeland, SC, his father Albert Williams of St. Helena Island, SC, maternal grandmother Mary M. Jones of Ridgeland, SC, maternal grandfather Arthur Rivers of Ridgeland, SC, grandmother Jeanette Singleton of St. Helena Island, SC, Three sisters Tonya G. Palmer of Ridgeland, SC, Shakeria Cuthbert of St. Helena Island, SC, T’Shayne Fripp of Brunswick, GA, two brothers Altradien Bartell of Gifford, SC, Ocorey Freeman of St. Helena Island, SC; a host of other family members and friends. Best Friends Anthony Hamilton and Demetric Manigault, both of Walterboro, SC.
