Edward D.”Paul” Bolden was born October 20, 1958 to the late Edward and Josephine Heyward Bolden in Chicago, Illinois. He was educated in the school system in Chicago and upon graduation, he enlisted in the Army, where he served many years and was honorable discharged. After serving his country he worked various jobs with his most recent jobs working construction
He was preceded in death by his father and mother Edward and Josephine Bolden, his oldest sister Martha “Tiny” Heyward Sumpter and his Brother Leroy Willis.
He leaves to cherish loving fond memories His companion of many years Ms. Ella White and one son Joe Shaun Bolden of Annapolis, Maryland, two sisters Mrs. Evelyn Walton and Ida Dixon both Chicago, a nephew and cousin whom both were reared as brothers Mr. Ronald Sumpter Sr. of Ridgeland, SC and Mr. Jimmy Wiggins Annapolis. Uncle Paul as he was affectionally known has left a host of nieces, nephews, close relatives, cousins, and friends too numerous to name without leaving someone unnamed and unmentioned whom he loved and cared for very passionately in each their own special way. He had a smile, conversation, or a handshake for each of them.
Funeral services for Mr. Edward Paul Bolden will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021, at the Allen Funeral Home Complex under the Canopy at 11 AM. A viewing will take place before the funeral services starting at 10 o'clock in the morning.
