Elect Lady Teresa White Obituary

Elect Lady Teresa A. White was born June 21, 1964 to the late Everette and Thelma Porter in Lexington, KY. Lady White got an early start in holiness and received the gift of the Holy Ghost at the age of 9. Growing up, she was a member of Greater Soul Deliverance under the late Bishop L. Booker.
While in high school, she met Lady Julia Johnson and they became good friends. She then began to spend time at The House of God becoming an inquisitor of the Sabbath and Feasts of the Lord. She later expressed to her mother that she wanted to join the church, but her mother told her she could not join until she turned 18. Lady White graduated at Bryan Station High in 1982 and the same summer she joined the church under the leader the Late Bishop S. P. Rawlings who happened to be great friends with her grandmother. After graduating high school, she received an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Kentucky State University.
After her move from Lexington, KY to Nashville, TN in 1995, she dealt with a mass tumor on the brain. While rededicating her life back to God, the Lord healed her from the tumor. On December 29, 1996, she married Vicar Brian White of Lexington, KY.
On March 9, 1998, Lady White gave birth to her only child O’Brien Alexzander White. Shortly after giving birth Lady White encountered several illnesses. Although many of them could have fatal to include breast cancer the Lord delivered her from them all. She was, indeed, a walking miracle.
On September 16, 2019, in Charleston, SC, a golden chariot accompanied with white stallions from four corners of the earth carried the soul of Elect Lady Teresa Ann White, a good and faithful servant, through the Pearly Gates into the waiting arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her sister, Teresa Porter; brother, Jeffery Porter, and her pride and joy, the late O’Brien A. White.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving and devoted husband of 22 years, Vicar Brian White; daughter, Asharah Stoner; niece, Ceonna Jones; sisters, Gloria (William) McCowan of Lexington, KY, Lashonda (Dedric) Davis-Sanford of Newport News, VA; brother, Michael Porter of Germany; father in law, Deacon William (Estella) White of Lexington, KY;  brothers in law, Michael White of Chicago, IL, Matthew (Lashawnda) White of Lexington, KY, Jeffery White of Nashville, TN, Jesse White of Raleigh, NC, Mitchell Smith of Germany, Michael (Anne) Smith and Clayton Mayberry all of Lexington, KY; sisters in law, Juanita Mayberry, Vera Johnson, Danita Mendez, Ruby Mayberry, Gerri Mayberry and Wanda Mayberry all of Lexington, KY; aunts Lily Kean of Jacksonville, FL and Mary Collins of Georgetown, KY; spiritual mother, Elect Lady M.
