We have come together as Family and Friends to pay tribute to the Life and Legacy of Mr. Emory Jackson, Sr.
Emory Jackson, Sr. was born May 1, 1929 to Thomas Jackson and Maggie White Jackson in Hampton County, SC.
At an early age, Emory confessed his faith to the Lord and spent much time reading and searching the scriptures. Emory served in the United States Army, he’s a veteran of Korean War.  He was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Mamie Lou Bryant Jackson. 
Throughout his life Emory showed an abiding love for his family and friends. He never missed an opportunity to make you laugh.
On Friday, June 24, 2022 at 2:33am at the VA Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Emory was called from labor to reward. He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Mamie; brothers: William, Woodrow and Robert Jackson; sisters: Elizabeth Jackson Rivers, Dessie Jackson and Eller Jackson; sister in law: Evangelist Martha Jackson.
Emory will be remembered by his family: three daughters: Luvenia Logan, Elizabeth Bryant both of Ridgeland, SC, and Dorothy Williams; son: Emory Jackson, Jr. of Ridgeland, SC; brother: Bishop West Jackson of Ridgeland, SC; uncle: Mr. James White of Plainfield, NJ; four special nieces: Lillie Loris Smith of Ridgeland, SC, Hattie Johnson, Mary Hudgins both of Syracuse, NY and Joyce Pinkney of Ridgeland, SC; two special nephews: Ben River of Tampa, FL and Elmore Jackson of Springfield, MA; twelve grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren and one great great grand; to include a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
