Ernest Singleton,72, of Ridgeland, SC passed away at MUSC on October 20, 2020.

The late Brother Ernest Singleton Sr. was born April 20, 1948 in Ridgeland, SC, he was the late son of Viola Singleton and Todd King.

Ernest Sr, accepted the lord Jesus Christ as his savior and was baptized by Reverend T.C. Spoon of Westland, MI.

Ernest Sr. was joined in Holy Matrimony to Aleatha Lavern Taylor- Singleton in 2003 he was a loving devoted husband and father. For the ones that knew him as “fuzzy” he was a generous, good hearted and fun-loving man always ready to help.

Ernest Singleton Sr. was called home to eternal rest on October 20, 2020at MUSC hospital he preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers: Johnnie Lee Jr, Lester, Lovey, and Andy Singleton.

He leaves to cherish his devoted wife Aletha Lavern Taylor Singleton of Myrtle Beach, SC, 3 daughters: Sia Singleton of Charleston, SC, Janice Taylor and Viola Singleton of Myrtle Beach, SC 4 Sons: Cleophus Wilson of Detroit, MI, Franklin (Octavia) of Bronx, NY, Ernest Jr. and Johnnie Singleton of Myrtle Beach, SC, and his Mother-In-Law Geneva T. Newton of Ridgeland, SC, 3 Sister-In-Laws: Frankie Bryant of Ridgeland, SC, Naomi Singleton of Ridgeland, SC, and Christine Singleton of Detroit, MI. & Grandchildren: SGT Sikarra, Jaslyn, Jasmine, Jalontae, Franklin Jr., Zuri and Skyla. 3 Great grandchildren: Jayden, Nylee, and Jayceon Nieces, Nephews and a host of cousins and friends. 2 God daughters: Stephanie and Danielle. 2 close friends: Star and Sammy both of Ridgeland, SC.
