Frances Gracie Fields, 65, a native of Walterboro, SC was born May 4, 1955, to Bertie James and Vernese Hamilton Fields.
On July 23, 2020, God sent His angels to bring another angel home. She will be lovingly remembered by her family, relatives, and friends. Frances had a beautiful smile for everyone she met. She didn’t say a lot but that smile said it all. Frances had and showed the love she had for her church (Mt. Olive Baptist Church) being a member of the Usher Board and most important being a member of the Victory and Praise choir (2nd Sundays) and the Fellowship Choir (4th Sundays). Her face would light up when Pastor Carter and Mrs. Carter would be near her.
Frances was like an angel. She endured more than a lot of people in her lifetime. She took it all in stride as quiet as a mouse. If you didn’t know something happened to her, she did not say she had pain and you would not see the pain from her. Frances was one of a kind, one of God’s special angels. To know her was to love her. She leaves us with many beautiful and loving memories.
Left to cherish her memories and legacy are; Her mother Vernese Fields, Walterboro, SC; One brother James Bertie Fields, Germany; One niece Matrissa Fields, Germany; two Aunts Martha Russell, Newburg NY and Collette George, FL; and a host of relatives and friend. She will never be forgotten.
Public viewing will be 5 pm - 6 pm Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at Allen Funeral Home in Walterboro, SC. Graveside Service will be 10 AM Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Mc Cune Branch Baptist Church Cemetery in Lodge, SC.
