Gregory Kemp, 59, of Bluffton passed away Monday, December 26, 2022, at his residence. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.
Gregory (Greg) Kemp was born on December 28, 1962 in Savannah, Georgia to the late Amos Kemp and Queen Smashum.
Greg began his education in the Chatham County School system. He graduated from Hershel Jenkins High School. After graduating he joined the United States Army. Greg was employed with Jerry Kirby, and H B construction for a number of years. Greg was a true handy man, he worked on small engines, he constructed fences, and he also enjoyed landscaping. Greg also enjoyed fishing, and other outdoor activities.
On December 26, 2022 brother Greg was called home to God.
He leaves behind to cherish: his wife Carolyn Hamilton Kemp; his children Sharon Cail (Mckevil Cail), Denise Fields, Santaega Fields, and Asia Hamilton, sisters; Elaine Worrell (Donald Worrell), Hazel Salmon (Jerry Salmon), Diane Roberson (Harry Roberson), brothers; Charles Kemp, Derrick Kemp (Margaret Kemp), sisters in law; Rosalyn Fields (), Stacey Gadson(Denzel), brothers in law; Joseph Fields(Shonda Fields), Arikin Fields Sr. (Martika Fields), Anthony Fields (Vanessa Fields), Anthony Baker, his grandchildren; Mckenzie Cail, Corene Cail, Logan Cail, Ja’liyah Osborne, Jaylen Jordan, Ja’kiy Hamilton, Journey Hamilton, and Ja’Marion Stroh. Special Friends; Aunt Pearl Mitchell, Terry Phillips and Ricky Mitchell. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
