James Collins Jr., 63, of Bluffton, SC, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Memorial Health Medical Center in Savannah, GA. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.
The visitation for James Collins, Jr. will be Friday, February 17, 2023, from 5 PM to 6 PM at Campbell AME Church, the Wake Service will take place from 6 PM to 7 PM Friday, February 17, 2023, at Campbell AME Church. The Funeral will be Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 2 o'clock in the Afternoon at Campbell AME Church, burial will follow in Jackville Cemetery.

On July 7, 1959, God blessed Mr. James Sr. and Mrs. Rosa Mae Collins with an only son they named James Jr. also known as T.C. James was educated in the Candler County School System and baptized at an early age at Campbell Chapel AME Church in Bluffton, SC where he remained faithful and dedicated on the Usher Board.
James (T.C) worked various jobs in the surrounding area until the late 90’s. He decided to start his own painting company which was called Collins Painting Company. He was very dedicated and hard working until his health began to fail. James was a very lovable person. He never met a stranger, everyone he came across he left a lasting impression.
On July 7, 2007 James was joined in Holy Matrimony to the beauiful Ms. Ieshia Woods a very faithful and dedicated wife. Who stood by his side until the very end.
On Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Memorial Health in Savannah, GA surrounded by his loving wife and family, James was called from labor to reward. He was preceded in death by his parents: Mr. James and Mrs. Rosa Mae Collins; a niece: Mrs. Kadesha Owens; one aunt: Mrs. Mary Tatum and two uncles: Jack and Jeffery Brown. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Mr. James Collins, Jr. is survived by his loving wife: Mrs. Ieshia W. Collins of Bluffton, SC; one son: Chief Petty Officer James Maurice (Chief Petty Officer Rachel) Collins of St. John FL; one daughter: Margaret G. Farrow (Anthony) of Savannah, GA; two granddaughters: Desire Green of Savannah, GA and Kennedy Collins of St. John FL; two grandsons: Jaden Collins and Jaxson Collins (unborn) both of St. John FL; three sisters: Juanita Jenkins (Leroy), Rose Kitty (Jon) all of Bluffton, SC and Michelle C. Windle (Dennis) of Jacksonville, NC; four nieces: Jacquely Brown, Tamika Jenkins, Rhonda Jones and Fiera Jenkins all of Bluffton, SC; three nephews: Leroy Brown of Bluffton, SC, Jameson Kitty (Brittany) of Columbia, SC and Desmond Windle of Jacksonville, NC; one aunt: Laura Speaks of Bluffton, SC; three uncles: Boston Brown, Redmon Brown and Frankie Brown, Sr. (Anne) all of Bluffton, SC; mother in law: Janice W. Winston of Savannah, GA; fathers in law: JeRome Richey, Sr. of Savannah, GA and Ronald Johnson of Hinesville, GA; four sisters in law: Janet Lynch (Reginald), Shaquandra Bostick (Quentin, Sr.) all of Jacksonville, FL, Tiarra Campfield of Savannah, GA and Jaquita Richey of Macon, GA; two brothers in law: Juann Robert and JeRome Richey, Jr. both of Savannah, GA; three special friends: Quentin Bostick, Sr., Maurice Bostick and Alphonso “Nas” Green; along with a host of grandnieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
