Jamie Reginald Jenkins, son of Frank Jenkins, Jr., and Myong Suk Chu Jenkins, was born on October 7, 1980, in Belton, Texas.  Jamie lived in Belton, Texas, Los Angeles, California, Charleston, South Carolina, and St. Helena Island, South Carolina.  He was lovingly called Reggie by his family. He attended Beaufort High School.  Jamie loved making music and performed it consistently throughout the years with different local artists and groups.  Jamie is remembered as being calm, humble, and quiet.  These same traits were evident in him as a child and continued throughout his adult life.  He found comfort in spending quality time with his friends and family. 
Jamie was loved by many.  He was easy to love and will be missed by his family and friends. Jamie entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 9th, 2021. He was proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents Frank Jenkins, and Lucille Prioleau Jenkins
Those left to cherish his memories include his father, Frank Jenkins, Jr., mother, Myong Suk Chu Jenkins, and loving siblings, Frank Randy Jenkins.  His loving aunts, Sarah Lee Middleton, Ida Mae Singleton (Joe Nathan), Alfreda Singleton, and Brenda Lee Jenkins all of St. Helena Island, SC.  His loving uncles, Anthony Rudolf Jenkins, Savannah, GA, Ben Owens (Cynthia) of Apalachicola, FL, Esaw M. Jenkins (Yolanda) of Charleston, SC; Joe Owens (Vernetta); Henry T. Jenkins (Angela); Joseph Jenkins (Beverly); Leroy K. Jenkins (Willa Mae) and Richard Jenkins all of St. Helena, SC, two nieces, and a host of cousins and friends who will cherish his memory.
