The Staff of Allen Funeral Home is saddened to announce the passing of Mrs. Jestine Peters-Mercado, 82, a native of Yemassee, SC passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 in Savannah, GA. She was the wife of Jose Mercado and mother of Reginald Peters, Rita Peters and Ralph Peters (deceased). Funeral services will be held 12 noon Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Allen Funeral Home Complex in Ridgeland, SC. Allen Funeral Home of Ridgeland in charge of arrangements.
The family is requesting those that are attending the service to please wear a token of red in honor of Mrs. Jestine.
