Jimmie Miller was born November 3, 1934, to Lucille Miller and Benjamin Dudley.
Jimmie was baptized on June 14th 1946, and had strong faith in the ransom sacrifice of Jesus Christ. When his daughter would hear him talking out aloud at night as she listened closely, he was saying the 23rd Psalms and our father prayer aloud every night.
Jimmie knew no stranger and had friends all over, he enjoyed visiting with his Aunt Maggie and talking with the older folks whenever he came home. His sayings will always be remembered pick you up on 26 with good reception come on, speak up I can't see you; I have one foot on a banana peel the other in the grave, and I the Yetty you.
Jimmie fell asleep in death on Tuesday June 14, at the home of his daughter. He was preceded in death by his brothers John Miller, Clarence Dudley (Seven), Luther Miller, Ernest Jenkins (Claw) and one sister Carrie English.
Jimmie leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 62 years Izetta Ladson Miller, two daughter's Inez Miller W., and Lisa M. Warren. Four grand Children Philip Jimmie Miller, Donelle T. Warren, Edsmond L. Warren Jr (Chasity Warren). Regina W.Wilkins (Will Wilkins). One great grandson Ethan C. Scarboro. Two sisters Arabell Williams (Sweetie) and Rosa Dudley Bryan (Frankie Bryan). Three brothers Curtis Miller, Freddie Miller, and Josephus Rivers (Bobbie). In-laws Albertha G. Ladson, George Ladson, and Jack Ladson (Jane). Special Niece Paula Ladson. A host of Nieces and Nephews, Cousins, and many friends. Long time friends Johnny and Joeby Major.
