Ms. Joanne Fripp, 65, of Okatie passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at her residence in Ridgeland, South Carolina. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home of Ridgeland. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.
Joanne Fripp was born November 16, 1956, in Beaufort, South Carolina to the late Helen Fripp and James Green. She graduated in 1975 from H.E McCracken High School.
At an early age, Joanne joined the Bethlehem Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Alonzo Alston where she served faithfully for years. During her adult years she joined the St. Luke Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Renty E. Kitty, Jr. where she continued to work for the Lord.
Joanne worked in the Restaurant Business industry until she found a job just right for her. Joanne found the perfect job being a fulltime mother raising her children.
On January 4, 2022 God called his faithful servant home to rest. (Job Well Done) Joanne was preceded in death by her mother: Helen Fripp; father: James Green; grandmother: Vida Fripp; brother: William Fripp and sister Sharon J. Fripp. Joanne will truly be missed by those who knew and loved her.
Joanne leaves to cherish her loving memories: one son: Tyrone Fripp; three daughters: Shanise Fripp, LaKeisha Fripp and Latoya Fripp; two grandchildren: Jamila Alston and Adam Fripp Bolden; two great grandchildren: Jayden Alston and Bellamir Prophet; three sisters: Lavern Fripp, Deaconess Irish (Henry) Bolden and Tammie (Ron) Matti; one brother: Gerald Fripp; one sister in law: Mary Ann Fripp; four aunts: Martha Major, Dollie (Alfred) Fripp, Viola Fripp and Ann M. Bolden; one uncle: Edward (Betty) Fripp; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A special friend like a sister who was with her through her journey Helen Green, also many other friends that were there for Joanne throughout her life.
