John N Chisholm, 71, of Walterboro, SC, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Colleton Medical Center, Walterboro.  Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.   

John Chisholm affectionately Coon was born on March 19, 1951, in Beaufort, SC.  He is the son of the late Johnnie Washington and Bessie Mae Washington. 
John entered in to eternal rest on Monday, October 25, 2022, at Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, SC. John was preceded in death by his parents Johnnie Washington and Bessie Mae Washington, one brother Junior Washington and a sister Rosalee Washington.
John was educated in the South Carolina public school system.
John spent most of his years working as a steel fabricator.  John will be remembered by all who knew him for his calm nature, pleasant smile, and warm personality. 
He leaves behind to cherish his memories a devoted companion of the home Linda L. Barnett, one daughter Joanna Barnett, and four bonus children Ernest Barnett (Andrietta), Evangelist Sherry Green (Derrick), Terry Barnett (Athena), Reuben Barnett (Tiffany). Two brothers Charles Grant and Melvin Washington (Terry); Sixteen grandchildren and one great-granddaughter Kamora Barnett. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
