Judy Lingard Kelly

Judy Lingard Kelly, 63, of Adden Street in Orangeburg, SC died Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at her residence. Allen Funeral Home of Walterboro in charge arrangements  

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the family asks that you refrain from visiting them at home but to keep them in prayer.

Mrs. Judy Evangelene Lingard Kelly, daughter of the late Harold Lee Lingard Sr., and Ethel Mae Lingard were born on July 23, 1956, in Walterboro, South Carolina. She attended the public schools of Newark, New Jersey, and was a graduate of Orangeburg Wilkinson High School. She furthered her education by attending college in Atlanta, Georgia to obtain a Lab Technician Degree. She was a former member of Harvey Chapel Baptist Church in St. George, South Carolina.

Judy later worked at several hospitals within the State of South Carolina and was later employed with the Department of Corrections until her retirement until 2007.

Judy was joined in holy matrimony to Joseph Marion Kelly and into this union, one child was born.

As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. Her life was as beautiful as the flowers that she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She quietly departed this life Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at her home in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her dad Harold L. Lingard, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories one daughter; Jovita Kelly of St. George, South Carolina, her mother Ethel Mae Lingard of Orangeburg, SC; her siblings Benjamin Lingard of Orangeburg, SC, Sandra (Jessie) Smalls of Columbia, SC, Linda Williams of Orangeburg, SC, James (Keron) Lingard, Warner Robins, Georgia, Harold Lingard Jr, (Trilby) Lingard of the Grand Cayman Islands, Valerie (Gerald) Nesbitt of Columbia, SC, Reginald (Wezi) Lingard, of Rentol, Washington and Sheila Lingard of Orangeburg, SC and three grandsons Jermoni T. Kelly, Jakeil T. Kelly and Jamarion R. Dicks all of St. George, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
