Julian Chaney was born on July 2, 1941 to the parents of Dave Chaney and Rosa Bell Flint Chaney. Julian Received his education from the Jasper County School System. On February 19,1966, Julian Chaney married the late Ella Mae Cooper.
In 1972 Julian was employed by Greenery Landscaping where he retired after 40 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and crabbing. Julian was a remarkable individual, known for his warm personality and charming nature.
Julian leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness that will be cherished by all who knew him.
On Thursday, June 6, 2024 Julian entered into enteral rest. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ella Mae Cooper.
Julian leaves to carry on his legacy, five daughters; Pam Chaney of Beaufort, SC, Marie Hamilton of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Andrea (Authur) Taylor of Ridgeland, SC, Lashanda (Tyrone) Heyward-Coger of Ridgeland, SC, Kimberly Patterson of Ridgeland, SC, two step daughters; Natasha Chaney of Moncks Corner, SC, Gelinda Heyward of Ridgeland, SC four sons; Julian Chaney JR. of Walterboro, SC, Keith (Vivian) King of Yemasee, SC, Abraham (Angela) Hamilton of Tarboro, SC, one step son; Jerome Chaney of Sheldon, SC. Proceeded in death by his late son; Julius Heyward and one step son; Maurice Chaney, three sisters; Mildred (Leroy) Chaney- Jenkins, Teressa Devore, Kathleen (Junior) Schuler Singleton, two brothers; David Chaney, Elliot (Lula Mae) Chaney, brother-in-law; Mcstanford, one sister; Ovilda Stanford of Savannah, GA, Twenty-three grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren. A host of nieces and nephews and a special friend Madison Bolden.
Julian Chaney, 82, of Ridgeland, SC, passed away at Coastal Carolina Hospital, Hardeeville, SC Thursday June 6, 2024 , Viewing June 13,2024 at Allen Funeral Home, Funeral Service will be held on June 14,2024, 12 noon at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church Ridgeland, SC.
