Kyah La’ Shay Kidd, born on April 27, 2008, in Savannah, GA, has sadly passed away on July 6, 2024. She resided in Bluffton, SC at the time of her death. Kyah was a vibrant and loving individual who brought joy to those around her.
Kyah had a passion for makeup, hair, Tik Tok, and playing Sims. She loved experimenting with different styles and expressing her creativity through these hobbies. When it came to food, Kyah had a particular fondness for fruits, savoring their natural sweetness.
In the realm of music, Kyah enjoyed listening to Tyler Childers and Brent Faiyaz. She found solace and inspiration in their melodies. Additionally, Kyah loved to cook, often delighting others with her culinary creations.
Kyah’s free-spirited nature led her to appreciate the beauty of sunsets. She cherished these moments, finding peace and tranquility in the world around her. Her favorite TV show was Law and Order, where she found intrigue in unraveling mysteries.
Kyah was known affectionately as Sugar Foot, Pookie, and Big Mama, Kyah was a beloved member of her family. Kyah’s presence was defined by her strong-mindedness, determination, stubbornness, humor, care, and sweetness.
In the lives of others, Kyah left an indelible impact. She reminded everyone to live authentically and unapologetically, encouraging them to embrace their true selves without fear of judgment. Kyah’s leadership role as a big sister was emblematic of her caring nature and the love she shared with her siblings.
Kyah leaves to cherish her loving memories: her mother: Giavonni (Tavaris) Mackey; father: Kareem (Fiera) Kidd; two sisters: Kharis Kidd, Lynnix Mackey; two brothers: Aubrey and Aydan; two very special grandparents as Kyah would call them Grammie and Granddaddy: Isiah (Mary) Kidd; grandparents: Donna Mackey, Claude Thuston; five aunts: La’Toya (Jason) Pinckney, Shayla Kidd, LaTrell (Conell) Mayers, Sydney Brown and Latisha Thuston; uncle: Andrew (Marquita) Kidd; grand aunts: Julie (Andrew) Kidd, Clair (Jack) Bush, Celia Barnwell and Sarah Simmons; grand uncle: Maurice (Sandra) Brown; loving god parents: Monica and Andre Colman; god sisters: Dae’Yonna Anderson and Avah Colman; special big cousin: Kayden Gipson; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends who loved her.
As we mourn the loss of Kyah La’Shay Kidd, let us remember her vibrant spirit and the joy she brought to our lives. Her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
