Lois Neel Obituary

Lois A. Neel, 90, gained her heavenly wings on January 15, 2021, surrounded by her extended family and caregiver Sarah G. Bush. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Neel; her parents Leonard J. Stegner and Agnes M. Tischer-Stegner; her brother Robert E. Stegner, and sister-in-law Edna M. Turner-Stegner. She will forever be cherished and remembered by her nieces and nephews: Denise Stegner-Koscica (Tony) of Youngsville, NC, Amanda L. Stegner-Schlender (John) of Savannah, GA, Joseph L. Stegner (Georgianna) and Martin K. Stegner of Sumter, SC., Great nephews Adam Koscica (Judy) of Youngsville, NC, Blake Stegner and Alex Stegner of Sumter, SC and a host of great-great-nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19 limitations, a Celebration of Life will be held when appropriate: Interment at Beaufort Memorial National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Amedisys Hospice of Pooler, GA.
