Louise Edwards, 74, of Hardeeville, SC, passed away on December 5, 2022, at Hilton Head Hospital. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home and are pending at this time. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.
Sister Louise Exley Edwards, daughter of the late Bro. Eddie Exley Sr. and the late Sis. Elizabeth Fields Exley was born February 21, 1948 in Jasper County, South Carolina. She received her formal education in the Jasper County school system.
She joined the St. Matthews Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Joseph W. Williams Sr. where she became a member of the usher board.
In 1974, Louise met and married Mr. Lincoln Edwards, Jr. to this union three children was born. She was a loving mother, wife and friend.
On December 5, 2022 she entered into internal rest at the Hilton Head Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children and two siblings.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted husband: Bro. Edward Lincoln Edwards, Jr. of Hardeeville, SC; a devoted daughter: Erika Edwards (John) Bush of Bluffton, SC and a loving son: Bro. Bryon Edwards of Hardeeville, SC; her sister: Cynthia (Pastor Warren) Winns of Lawton, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; to include a special cousin: Margie Fields; three step stepchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and surrounding friends.
