Madeline Chisolm

Madeline Chisolm, a beloved soul who embraced a life of devotion as a wife, mother and friend. She was born on May 5, 1929 on Hilton Head Island, SC, to the late Charles Lee and Cornie Frazier. She peacefully departed this earthly journey on July 21, 2024 at the age of 95. 

Madeline received her education at Beaufort County School. Madeline was employed at Sea Pine Inn for many years and her last employment was the Old Oyster Factory for more than five Years. She loved to share, cook, sewing, quilting, and she loved the Lord and her children. Madeline was a devoted member to the New Church of Christ  on Hilton Head Island, SC, before joining The House of Refugee.

Madeline was preceded in death by her parents;  husband, Eddie Chisolm Sr. three sons; Edward, Eddie Jr. and Roy Chisolm, two sisters and five brothers.

Left to cherish her memories are her devoted children three daughters; Rose Chisolm, Henrietta Chisolm, Vivian Chisolm, four sons; Isaac (Priscilla) Chisolm, Charles Chisolm, Perry Chisolm, Allen Chisolm, two sisters; Sara Lee Young and Louise Hendrix, one brother; Nathaniel Frazier, two brothers-in-law; Julius (Phyllis) Chisolm and Steve (Marvel) Chisolm, two God-daughters; Mable Young and Lamoya Palmer, one special daughter-in-law; Ella Chisolm, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-six great- grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

 Viewing Sunday July 28th from 5-7pm and Funeral Service will be held on Monday July 29th at 11am at  New Church of Christ on Hilton Head, SC, Address: 221 Spanish Wells Road, Hilton Head, SC 29926.
