Marc E. Whitehead, Jr.

Marc Whitehead, Jr. was born January 1, 1994 in Beaufort, SC to Patricia Hewitt and Marc Whitehead, Sr.  

Marc was reared by his aunt and uncle, Clyde (Mona) Simmons on Coosaw Island also his cousin Angel Simmons whom he had a very special bond with. Marc attended the public schools in Beaufort county. After high school Marc moved to Augusta, GA in 2007. 

Marc had a magnetic personality and was loved by his family, and many friends. Marc was a very loving father to his boys. He was employed by D-1 Managed Services in Augusta, GA.

On Friday, June 28, 2024, Marc entered into eternal rest in Augusta, GA. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

Marc leaves to cherish his unforgettable memories: three children: Noah Kingston-Shemar Greer, Marc Whitehead, III, and Amiri Shine-Whitehead; his parents: Patricia Hewitt and Marc Whitehead, Sr.; siblings: Ashlee (Hunter) Whitehead- McIntyre, Michael Whitehead, Elyjah Bentley and Alonzo Bentley; his paternal grandparents: Otis (Emma) Whitehead, Sr.; along with a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
