Marcus N. Graves

Marcus Nyliek Graves, was born July 5, 2003 in Beaufort, South Carolina to Shantay Odom. 
Marcus was a junior at Battery Creek High School  He was a typical teenager who enjoyed hanging out with his friends, being on social media and doing landscaping. His ambition was to become an entrepreneur of his own professional landscaping company.
Marcus Nyliek Graves was called home to be with our Father on October 31, 2019. He will truly be missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his mother: Shantay Odom (Sean) of Beaufort, SC; brother, Akeem Fripp of Beaufort, SC; his maternal grandparents: Pricilla Jenkins (Henry) of St. Helena Island, SC; his paternal grandfather, Josephus Cohen of St. Helena Island, SC; his maternal grandmother, Elouise Wright of St. Helena Island, SC; his maternal great grandfather, Henry Jenkins, Sr (Essie) of St. Helena Island, SC; granduncle, Sammy Singleton (Jonetha) of St. Helena Island, SC; seven aunts, Latrelle Odem of Atlanta, GA, Latrice Jenkins of St. Helena Island, SC, Da’Meea Jenkins (Eddie) of St. Helena Island, SC, Da’Myra Jenkins (Lavar) of Burton, SC, Aundrea Black of Beaufort, SC, Alake Wealthy Emembo of Montgomery, AL and Marsha Robinson of St. Helena Island, SC; uncles, Henry Jenkins, III and Brandon Jenkins both of St. Helena Island, SC; two special aunties, Dominque Fripp of Beaufort, SC and Latonya Washington of Beaufort, SC; special teacher, Roslyn Singleton; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends; to include a special friend and mentor, Arlean Porter- McDonald.
