Marquis Fields,37, of Bluffton, SC passed away at Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville, SC Wednesday, November 11, 2020. Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home Of Ridgeland.
Marquis McLean Fields was born on November 10, 1983, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital to parents Shelly Dupont Sr., and Sandra Mitchell.
Marquis was known for being a hard-working man and a loving father. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, working on his cars, and spending time with his family. He had a love for classic cars and old school music. He was truly an old soul who will be missed dearly.
Mark knew he was being called home the night of his 37th birthday, and told Ashely that he loves all of his family. On Tuesday, November 10, 2020, Mark‘s spirit shed its earthly vessel and took flight to his home on high. He is preceded in death by his great grandparents Bennie Fields, and Evalena Middleton, as well as his grandfather George Brown Sr.
Marquis is survived by both his parents, his partner Ashely Henly of Bluffton, one daughter Keione Fields of Fort Pierce, FL, four sons; Marquis Fields Jr., of Fort Pierce, FL, Jayden Fields, Leeland Fields, and Antonio Fields all of Bluffton, SC, Six sisters; Raevin and Desandra Fields of Bluffton, SC. Victoria (Charles) Daughtrey, and Takeyla Dupont of Ridgeland, SC, Dr. Lashonda (Chris) Smith of Appleton, WI, and Shelley Cherie Dupont of Columbia, SC. A brother CSM Shelly (Melinda) Jenkins of Guam, a stepbrother, Roger (Nicole) Jefferson, a step-sister Tatyana Johnson, and a godbrother Lamont Fields Sr., of Bluffton, SC. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who love him very much and will cherish his memories forever.
