Mary Lou Black Obituary

Mary Lou Black, 80, of Walterboro, SC died Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at Trident Medical Center in Charleston, SC.  Allen Funeral Home of Walterboro in charge. Graveside Service  Monday, July 6, 2020, at 11: AM at New Bethel #5 Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery Ruffin, SC.

Mrs. Mary Lou Black was born to Jessie Davis and Earline Stokes on March 28, 1935, in Smoaks, SC. She was one of eight children born to her parents. 
Mary attended public schools in Colleton County. At an early age, she joined New Bethel Holiness #5 in Ruffin, SC. Mary loved going to church and raising her children, grandchildren. She also raised two additional children like her own, Athneyl and Lamont. Mary worked as a homemaker, she enjoying time with her sisters, cooking, and attending church. 
Mary was joined in Holy Matrimony to JB Black. This union was blessed with three children.
Mary Lou Black entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at Trident Medical Center in Charleston, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, JB Black; daughter: Viola Moore; son: Leroy Black; five siblings: Rosa Lee Williams, Maggie Davis, Annie Jean Bookhart, James Davis, and Isiah Davis. Mary will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Mary leaves to cherish her loving memories: her son: Jimmie Black of Ruffin, SC; grandchildren: Miranda Black, Daryll Black, Nichlos Moore, Keith Moore; children who she raised: Atneyl Holman, Lamont Holman, Tommy Priestly, Alex Pinckney, Samara Adkinson; aunt: Mrs. Redell Fields; along with a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
