Michael Bolden, 51, of Ridgeland passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at St Joseph Candler hospital in Savannah, GA. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home of Ridgeland. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.
Mr. Michael Wayne Bolden was born on June 5, 1970 in Beaufort, SC, to the late Deacon William Bolden Jr. and Mary Morrell Bolden. Michael graduated from Ridgeland High School in Jasper County. He was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church.
Michael worked for different construction companies, and also worked on Hilton Head Island, SC, as a cook in a restaurant. In Michael’s spare time he enjoyed fishing, and loved watching football, Dallas Cowboys was his favorite team. Michael was a loving father, brother, and friend he will truly be missed by those who knew him.
Michael is survived by his children Darius (Robin), Demetrius (Hope) of Ridgeland, SC, grand daughter Clancy Arroya, siblings William Bolden III, Lenard Bolden, Gerard Kitty (Michelle) all of Ridgeland, Michelle Bolden of Beaufort, and Jackie Bolden of Ridgeland, aunts Inez Plowdeniz of Burton, SC, Irabell (Joe) Joseph, Cleartha Moore (Louis) Hamilton, Jannie L. Mitchell of Burton, SC, Dorothy M. Ronnie) Ross of Jonesboro, GA, Juanita (Harold) Wesley and Vivian (Minister Gerald) Dawson both of Seabrook, SC, Ida N. Seabrook of Savannah, GA, Shirley (Ronald) Patterson of Beaufort, SC and Connie Murray of Columbia, SC, uncles; Richard Bolden (Mickie), Henry (Irish), Matthew (Veronica) Bolden, Jake (Shirley) Bolden all of Ridgeland, SC, Deacon Herbert (Armethia) Burnes, Edmond (Gail) Burnes, Freddie (Tonya) Burnes all of Burton, SC, Anthony (Terry) Burnes of Yemassee, SC, Ezekiel (Celestine) Murray, Jr., of New York City and Deacon Walter (Katie) of Beaufort, SC, nephew’s; Bryan Nelson, Marcus Kitty , and Kelvin Shaw, nieces Latoya Nelson, Marcia Kitty, Markesha Bolden, and Destiny Shaw, special grand niece Faith (fat Baby) Bolden and a host of other relatives and friends.
