Mr. Herman Witherspoon

Allen Funeral Home announces with heartfelt sympathy the passing of Mr. Herman Witherspoon, 75, of Ridgeland, SC. 

Mr. Witherspoon was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, friend, and respected member of the community. A retired firefighter, he dedicated many years of service to protecting and helping others with courage, honor, and compassion. His life was a testament to strength, integrity, and selfless service. The impact he made on the lives of those who knew him will forever be remembered and cherished.

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Friday, June 19, 2026 at First Euhaw Baptist Church in Ridgeland, SC. Funeral Services will be held 12 noon Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Campbell Chapel AME Church in Bluffton, SC. Burial will follow in Preference Cemetery in Ridgeland, SC. Allen Funeral Home of Ridgeland in charge of arrangements.
