Nathaniel Herbert Bolden

Nathaniel “Herbert” Bolden was born on August 25, 1952 in Ridgeland, SC to Clara Netha Bolden and Thomas Bryant. 

He received his formal education through the Beaufort County Public School system, graduating from Michael C. Riley High School in 1972. While attending high school, Nathaniel was affectionately known as “Champ” for his excellent track skills. After graduating from high school, he was employed by M.J. construction until his retirement. Nathaniel was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. When the Dallas Cowboys were playing he and his family would sit around to watch them play. 

On August 22, 2024, God in his glorious and infinite wisdom called Nathaniel to eternal rest. Nathaniel was preceded in death by his loving mother Clara Netha Bolden.

His memories will forever be cherished by his father Thomas Bryant; his two daughters; Seconda (John) Bolden of Okatie, SC and Tierra Scott of Seabrook, SC, five sisters; Dorothy Mack, Elizabeth Beaton of Beaufort, SC; Doris Bolden of Ridgeland, SC; Gwendolyn Bryant and Yvette Bryant of New York, NY; three brothers, Curtis Bolden, Marvin Bolden and Samuel Mohammad of Ridgeland, SC; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one uncle; Issac (Mary) Bryant; one aunt, Delores Anderson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many surviving friends. 

 Viewing Friday August 30, 2024 from 5-7 at St. Luke Baptist Church. Funeral Service Saturday August 31, 2024 @11am at St. Luke Baptist Church .
