Pastor Charlie Jones, III, 50, Native of Valdosta, GA. passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville, SC. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home of Ridgeland. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.
Charlie Lewis Jones III, son of the late Charlie Lewis Jones Jr. and Rosa Clemons was born July 27,1971 in Quitman, Ga. He attended grade school in Valdosta Ga before relocating to Ft.Lauderdale where he excelled in wrestling at Dillard High School.
Charlie met the love of his life, Teresa during a chance encounter at a gas station and they would become inseparable for 22 years. He would eventually settle in Early Branch, Sc and became employed at Sea Pines CSA for 23 years until he became disabled with renal failure. Through his 5 year battle on dialysis Charlie never complained and always kept the faith. He became an ordained Pastor under the leadership of his mother and was blessed to receive the gift of kidney. Charlie was an amazing man of God and the Rock for everyone who knew him.
Charlie was preceded in death by his father Charlie Lewis Jones Jr. and son Markell Jones
Charlie leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Teresa Jones, six children Mykayla Jones, Malachi Jones, and Marcell Jones of Early branch sc, Shante Jones, Tevin Jones, Kevin Jones all of Greenville sc, his mother Apostle Rosa Clemons (Harry)of Tarboro sc, two brothers Micheal Jones of Tarboro sc and Artist Jones of Houston Texas. One sister Sheila Jones of Cordele, Ga. mother in law Constance Taylor Ridgeland, Sc ,Hosts of aunt and uncles who made such a positive impact on his life, cousins whom he loved like siblings, host of nieces and nephews that he adored. One very special niece whom he helped raise from a child Destiny Wright, Ridgeland sc and two honorary Jones whom he was raising John Mason III and Layla Brown of Early branch sc. and In laws whom he loved so very dearly
