Perry Lee Sr.

Perry Lee Sr. was born in Ridgeland, SC on December 25, 1946.  He was the son of the late Roosevelt Lee Sr. and Mary Anderson Lee.
Perry Lee Sr. received his early educational training and graduated from Jasper High School in Ridgeland SC.  Perry was a Maintenance Worker for Chelsea Plantation in Ridgeland, SC, and Beaufort County Parks, and Leisure Services in Beaufort SC. 
On September 28, 1968, he was married to his wife Marie Lee of 52 years; In December of 2009, he retired.  Perry had a great love for the sport of baseball; he was a manager for Low Bottom Pirates and Hampton Baseball teams. On February 01, 2020, he was baptized and became a member of St. Luke Baptist Church in Ridgeland, SC.  After becoming an official member, he joined the Usher Board as an Honorary member.
Perry Lee Sr. departed this life on Thursday, September 3, 2020, in Beaufort Memorial Hospital.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Theresa Samantha Lee; his parents Roosevelt Lee Sr. and Mary Anderson Lee; and brothers Joe Lee, Abraham Lee, Richard Lee, and Roosevelt Lee Jr.
 He is survived by wife, Marie Bolden Lee of Ridgeland, SC; daughter Shelia (James) Ferguson of Savannah, GA; son, Perry Lee Jr. (Willette) of Ridgeland, SC; granddaughter, Theresa Jantel Lee of Savannah, GA; one sister, Jennie Mae Lee of Ridgeland, SC; two brothers Samuel Lee (Sarah) of Pineland, SC and Gilbert Lee of Ridgeland, SC; three sisters-in-laws Geneva Newton, Regina Spann, Elaine Bolden, all of Ridgeland, SC; one brother in law Deacon Ernest Bolden (Ruth Mae) of New York City; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and caring friends. 

Mr. Perry Lee Sr., 73, of Low Bottom, passed away at Beaufort Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, September 3, 2020. A  Viewing will be Monday, September 7, 2020, from 5 - 7 PM at Allen Funeral Complex Ridgeland, SC. Graveside service will be Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at 11 AM at Low Bottom Cemetery Okatie, SC.  Allen Funeral Home Ridgeland, SC is in charge.
