Pertilla "Patsy" White Obituary

Pertilla "Patsy"  T. White, 61, of Ridgeland, SC passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Coastal Carolina Hospital. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home of Ridgeland. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.

 


Missionary Pertilla Taylor White was born January 15, 1960, to Flora Taylor Patterson and the late Jacob Taylor.
Pertilla “Patsy” as she was affectionally called, attended public schools in Jasper County, where she received her high school diploma and later earned her Bachelor’s degree in theology from Ohio University.
At an early age she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior, and became a member of Chapel on the Hill Holiness Church of Deliverance in Coosawhatchie, SC, under the leadership of Pastor H. Wright Sr., she was led by the Holy Spirit to church of the Word Healing & Deliverance Ministry. Under Leadership of Pastor J. Taylor, where she served faithfully as a Missionary Choir Director and a praise and worship leader.
Pertilla was joined in Holy Matrimony to Van Henderson White, she was a devoted wife and mother to who loved her family.
She was employed at Ridgeland Nursing Center for many years, and also worked for Cypress of Hilton Head Island, SC. She enjoyed taking care of people.

She was preceded in death by her father Jacob Taylor, her sister Julia K. Taylor Bostick and nephew, Joseph L. Taylor Jr.
After a short illness Pertilla succumbed to the precious will of God on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeville, SC, by yielding to the Masters call to come join the heavenly Host.
Pertilla leaves to cherish her loving memories: her husband, Deacon Van Henderson White, her daughters; Evangelist Lakisha (Minister Jeffery) Johnson of Charleston, SC, Natasha M. Love and Nashay N. Love both of Ridgeland, SC, one son, Raymond G. Love of Savannah, GA, her mother Flora Taylor (Robert) Patterson of Ridgeland, SC, sisters; Evang. Diane Taylor and Evang. Shelia Williams both of Ridgeland, SC, brothers; Deacon Joseph (Deborah) Taylor, Pastor James (Evang. Janette) Taylor both of Ridgeland, SC, one brother in-law, Arthur Bostick of Ridgeland, SC, aunts; Flossie Dupont, Apostle Lydia (Elder Williams) Sterling, Almaire (Oliver) Drake, JoAnn (Hardreas) Rice and Mary (Robert) Sanford all of Ridgeland, SC, one adopted daughter and two step daughters of Chesapeake, VA, Eleven grandchildren, two special nieces, Ladenier Mitchell and Kendra N. Williams, one special nephew, Elliott Maurice Mitchell, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
