Rebecca Wright, 70, of Ridgeland, SC passed away at her residence Sunday, June 26, 2022. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.

Rebecca Wright the daughter of the late Cleveland and Margie Chaneyfield she was born on September 3, 1951 in Ridgeland, SC. Rebecca received her education in the public school of Jasper County. Rebecca was a member of United House of Prayer for all people in Tillman, SC. She served faithfully as an Usher until her health started to decline. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunty, to many she was very much loved.
She enjoyed being around her family, traveling, and sewing making her curtains.
On Sunday, June 26, 2022, at her residence God called Rebecca home to eternal rest from this world. She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband John Henry Wright II and her son John Henry Wright III, three sisters; Arlene Chaneyfield, Martha Ann Johnson, Mary Lou Deloach, and one brother Cleveland Chaneyfield.
She leaves to cherish her memories are her daughters Janice Spell, and Lasonia Wright, two sons Anthony Chaneyfield and Christopher Wright, one step son Joseph Cooper, one son-in-law Jimmy Bellamy, all of Ridgeland, SC, two sisters; Deloris Chaneyfield, and Shirley Anna Chaneyfield of Ridgeland, SC, one aunt Ellouise Chaneyfield of Louisville, GA, four uncles; Nelson (Ela) Chaneyfield, Robert Lanel (Mela) Chaneyfield of Charlotte, NC, John Horton, Sr. of Ridgeland, SC, special niece Sharon Johnson, of Ridgeland, SC, six sisters-in-law; Elizabeth W. Habersham, Inez (Earnest) Jackson, Brenda (Peter) Logan, Patricia Wright all of Ridgeland, SC, Theresa Wright of Savannah, GA, Jannie Overton of Elizabeth City, NC, three brothers-in-law; Tommy (Elise) Wright, Robert (Karen) Wright  of Ridgeland, SC, and Kenneth (Shelia) Wright of Charleston, SC, along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
