Rodney Washington, the son of Estella Washington Taylor and Samuel Janhrette was born June 9th, 1966 in Hilton Head, SC.
Rodney attended the Beaufort County Public Schools and was a 1984’ graduate of Hilton Head High School, Hilton Head, SC. Rodney worked at various private owned landscaping companies on Hilton Head, SC, enjoying what he loved to do best landscaping.
Rodney Washington departed this life on Tuesday June 29, 2021. Preceded him in death were his grandparents Deacon George Washington and Margaret Johnson Washington of Hilton Head, SC his step dad Ruben B. Taylor of Ridgeland, SC; two aunts Louise Washington Young of Ridgeland, SC and Elizabeth Grant Washington of Hilton Head, SC; three uncles Benjamin Washington of Hilton Head, SC, Robert Washington of Savannah, Ga and Ezekiel Jones of Hilton Head, SC.
Rodney leaves to cherish his memories his beloved mother Estella Washington Taylor of Hilton Head Island SC and his father Samuel Janhrette of Savannah, GA; two daughters Shakena Cohen of Okatie, SC, and Jennifer Wright (James) of Ridgeland, SC; six grandchildren Keyshawn Chisolm of Okatie, SC, Zasha Orr, Nyashia Orr, Tyasia Orr, Maliq Orr and Xikerra Orr of Ridgeland, SC one great grandchild Homony Jenkins of Ridgeland, SC, two brothers Ruben Taylor II (Michelle) of Hilton Head, SC and Ronald Taylor (Sandra) of Ridgeland, SC, three aunts Virginia (Willie) Owens of Okatie, SC, Alice (Harold) Pinckney of Beaufort, SC , Dorthea Washington of Savannah, GA; four uncles Samuel (Dorothy) Washington of Savannah, GA, James (Ida Mae) Washington of Hilton Head Island, SC,  Arthur {Martha) Washington of Waitsfield, VT and  Deacon Joseph Young of Ridgeland, SC. One very special cousin Stanley (Gayle) Washington of Pooler, GA; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends.
