Rose M. Hugue

Rose M. Hugue, 73, of Ridgeland, SC passed away at Landmark Hospital, Savannah, GA, on Saturday, August 6, 2022. Arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home. We welcome you to provide your thoughts and memories on our tribute wall.

Rose Marie Hugee was born May 25, 1949, to the late Wesley and Beatrice Hugee. 
Rose was raised in the Roseland community and received her education in the public-school. Rose spent several years in Brooklyn NY and returned home to her roots to take care of her grandmother alongside her siblings.
Rose worked for Sunshine service for 15 years and went on to private work until her health began to fail.
Rose was one of a kind, she loved her family and would do her best to help wherever she could. She loved cooking, crabbing, and cruising.
On Saturday August 6, 2022, at 12:20pm she departed this life to take her eternal rest next to the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters; Mary Orr and Dessie Heard, three brothers; Redell, Windy, and Robert Lee; one grandson: Ricky Raheen Hugue; and one close friend Shirley Ann Nelson.
Rose leaves to cherish her life, her memories and her legacy: one son, Ricky (Ericka) Hugue of Varnville, SC; one daughter: Marilyn Hugue of Somerset NJ; one granddaughter: Alicia Hugue of Ridgeland, SC; two sisters: Sarah Woods of Ridgeland SC, and Bessie Sabb (Johnny) Ridgeland; one brother: Randy-Peter Hugue (Betty) of St. Helena Island; two aunt: Mattie Jones of Ridgeland, SC, and Mary Bryant (Issiah) of Low Bottom, SC; one uncle: Charles Edwards of Savannah, GA. and a host of nieces, nephew, relatives, and friends
