Shaina Syamone Mulligan, was born on September 8, 1991, in Beaufort, South
Carolina. She attended the public schools in Beaufort County, graduating from Battery Creek
with the class of 2010.
Shaina once worked at Walmart as a stocker, until she decided to become a stay-at-home
mom and raise her kids, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed and loved her family and friends. She
would do whatever you asked her to do. She never said “NO”. Her family was everything to her.
On Saturday, December 4, 2021, Shaina departed this earthly life and entered into eternal
rest. Shaina was proceeded in death by her grandparents Rosezena (Harold) Mulligan, special
cousin Rodney (Buck) Young, and special auntie Jackie Young.
She leaves to cherish her memories her parents Irvin Mulligan of Dale, SC, and Sherry
(Earl) Anderson of Big Estate, SC, her precious children Jalayah Young and Sean Young III,
maternal grandparents Maude (Chester) West and paternal grandparents Helen Mulligan, and
Erenest (Ann) Rivers, siblings: Erica Young, Irvasia Mulligan, Irvin Mulligan, Tiesha Allen, Tamika
Fields, and La’monte Mulligan, her nieces and nephews: Serenity Young, Brielle Mulligan, Malaiya
Bryan, Malaysia Bryan, Aubrey Fields, King Eugene, Keion Mulligan, and Tristen Fields, special
aunts: Valerie Young, Shirley Washinton, Annette Pringle, Sonya Moultrie, Shakeima Mulligan,
and Tiffany Rivers, special uncles: Ponnell “Poccomoe” Mulligan, Ottis Mulligan, Gylnis Mulligan,
Ernest Rivers, and Jason (Janise) Young, a special cousin Shanisha Jenkins, along with a host of
aunts, uncles, grandaunts, granduncles, relatives , and friends.
