Shonder Cannick Obituary

Shonder Cannick, 51, of Low Bottom passed away at her home. She was the daughter of Evang. Easter Mae Cannick. Allen Funeral Home of Ridgeland is in charge.

Shonder Alisa Cannick daughter of the Evangelist Easter Mae Cannick and the late James Otis Cannick was born January 6, 1970, in the Bronx of New York City. She attended PS 42 in the Bronx and graduated from Jasper County High School class of “88.” She also attended Columbia Junior College where she majored and graduated in Travel and Tourism. Shonder was employed at Spinnaker Resort on Hilton Head Island for 10 years where she was awarded their number one salesperson.
Shonder joined Chapel on the Hill Holiness Church at a tender age and was baptized under the senior Pastor Mary B. Brown. She was later rebaptized under her current Pastor Elder Harold Wright Sr.
Shonder was joined in Holy Matrimony to John Jenkins on July 13, 1995 and from this blessed union Shonderra Janise Jenkins was born.
Shonder was very loving, outspoken, eager, joking, and a highly ambitious woman. She enjoyed singing, cooking, and going out of her way to help anyone despite of any situation. Her most abundance of joy, love, and happiness was her family whom she loved the most.  Shonder loved life was the life of any occasion where she brought her warm smile and laughter.
